CPR—Heartsaver Recertification

Basic Life Support (BLS) for recertifying registrants. Includes the Heartsaver course for adults, children, and infants.

You will receive a 2-year American Heart Association Certification card at the successful completion of the class.

Course contents:

  • Chain of Survival
  • AED demonstration
  • Foreign body airway obstruction
  • Choking procedures
  • Video presentation
  • Skill practice on mannequins
  • One-rescuer CPR
  • Heimlich maneuver
  • Individual skills testing with instructor.

Course is offered free of charge to CMC associates and medical staff.

For all others, registration must be made and payment received by 4 p.m. two days before the class. No refunds are possible if reservations are not canceled by that time.
