This class is specifically designed for the individual who has completed a physical or occupational therapy program and wants to maintain the fitness achievements made in therapy. This transitional class provides safe and effective exercises that focus on functional activities, flexibility, cardiovascular health, and muscle strength and endurance. Exercises are done in a chair and may utilize resistance bands, dowels, and hand-weights.
The focus of this class is to help the individual maintain an independent lifestyle and preserve the quality of life through physical activity. Dress comfortably and bring a water bottle and towel.
Medical clearance is required prior to participation.
Level of difficulty: Easy to Medium.

A fixed fee of $10 per day, $40 per month or $100 per quarter covers all fitness program classes at Castle. An initial, one-time fitness assessment and registration form must be completed by all participants prior to starting class.
Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring a beach towel or yoga mat.
Medical clearance may be required prior to participation. Participants must be able to get up and down off the floor.
